POSITION:  CASE MANAGER

Barry Abrams earned his BA in American Literature with Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Upon graduating, Andrew embarked on a career in genealogy.

In 2005, he transitioned from genealogy to teaching, obtaining his PGCE and working as an English teacher until 2010.

Barry's enduring love for genealogical research brought him back to the profession in early 2010. He is particularly passionate about uncovering fascinating records and analysing census data. His interest in family research was kindled by observing his grandmother as she meticulously researched both sides of their family tree. Discovering that his family had resided in Suffolk for more than ten generations was both compelling and inspiring for him as a young genealogist.

Barry joined our team with over 15 years of experience in the probate research industry. His extensive knowledge of the southern counties and his keen attention to detail make him a valuable addition to our team. Additionally, he has significant experience in tracing property owners for local authorities.

Barry's interest in probate genealogy was further ignited after he successfully researched and located a missing family member.
